I believe you get to be no more than five things at any time. Husband, father, and work are locked into the top three spots. The last two spots…those rotate through an ever-growing list of projects (though I do tend to complete things).

04Custom Pinball PinballPinball is great, and custom pinball is even better. There's a vibrant community around it that's full of creators with different skillsets. My contribution is mainly in the form of resurrecting Brooks & Dunn — Gottlieb's last machine — from an unreleased prototype playfield and a bucket of random parts. Hundreds of hours of wiring, figuring out undocumented mechs, fabricating missing parts, and writing most of the rules and code brought this machine back to life, built on Fast Pinball hardware and Mission Pinball Framework.

05Ultra Shuffle Bowl ArcadeA rebuilt shuffleboard bowling machine, with new retro-style artwork inspired by the ball returns in The Big Lebowski. These are electromechanical works of art in every way.

06Electronic Dartboard LegacyBuilt way back in Visual Basic .NET to see if I could replicate the electronic dart boards found in bars. It works, though you probably can't use it. Some day I'll update to use a real dartboard and computer vision.
